Daily reminder: Type-Moon fans can't read

Image
I don’t even care about this verse anymore. It’s dead, replaced by a hollow shell mindlessly supported by people who can’t make a logical connection even if their lives depended on it. I made this blog simply because I just had the displeasure of accidentally witnessing these kids still coping over the same tired arguments, like they have nothing better to do. More specifically, they are whining about how, in Melty Blood Actress Again, Ryougi Shiki canonically slaughtered Archetype Earth: Yet somehow TM fanboys are still screeching:  “i-it’s ambiguous, the Japanese doesn’t say that!!” Alright, let’s put this stupidity to rest: Two separate engines. Same result. It literally parses to: “A further fate, called god-slaying, was awaiting her.” There is no wiggle room. So let’s recap: -Three independent sources: two machine TLs plus a grammar breakdown, all say  awaited her. The only people still crying “ambiguous” are those who  can’t comprehend language in general  and...

Hierarchy of Old Type-Moon

Image
This is a brief summary of how various characters compared to each other in the older lore, before Fate and other retcons altered it into essentially a separate canon: ----- The  Fount  (or  the One ) is the source of all existence and all possibilities. It is called “nothingness” because it cannot be fully defined in a single term: any attempt to name or think about it is already just one possibility sourced from it. The very act of describing it is a reduction of its greater whole, which is the paradox at the core of Kara no Kyoukai. The only characters who directly harness its true nature are  Void Shiki  and  Ryougi Shiki  in her self-hypnosis state. However, Void Shiki finds all things meaningless, while the self-hypnotized Ryougi dissolves into “nothing”, becoming a pure instrument of swordsmanship. Essentially, reaching the One grants near-perfection or near-omnipotence but dissolves the self entirely, because it cannot be grasped otherwise. Fro...

Case File: The ORT Illusion – A Documentary Dissection

Image
The time has come to dissect what is probably the most overhyped entity in the entire Type-Moon mythos, second only to the Servant wank. Yes, those same Servants, low superhuman guys who die to trains and struggle to dodge paintballs, with a few niche conceptual weapons that people claim can somehow stand up to actual top tiers or reality warpers. In most communities, whenever someone asks, “Who’s the strongest character in Type-Moon?” , truly powerful characters (like basically anyone from Kara no Kyoukai or Nanaya Shiki from Tsukihime ) are completely overlooked in favor of far less impressive figures. And among those, no one gets more blind hype than ORT , often spammed alongside Arcueid and the usual batch of Servants, despite being one of the most misunderstood and overrated beings in the entire franchise. So, is ORT really such a big deal? Is it truly the strongest being in the verse, as many claim? Of course not. Let’s look at the actual facts, no headcanon, no mistr...
